Past Giveaways & Promotions
A look back at community events and prize draws that brought Whovians together.
From time to time, GallifreyArchive has hosted giveaways to celebrate milestones and share the joy of Doctor Who with fellow fans. All events listed here are now closed, but they remain a fond part of our community history.
The GallifreyArchive community has always been at the heart of what makes this site special, and our past giveaways reflect that spirit of shared fandom. Whether celebrating the announcement of a new series or marking the anniversary of a classic era, these events gave fans a chance to win themed merchandise, exclusive editions, and curated collections spanning the Doctor's many regenerations. From the classic series to the modern revival, each giveaway was designed to spark conversation and bring Whovians together in anticipation of what was to come. Though these promotions have now closed, the memories of excited comments and shared speculation remain a cherished part of the archive's history.
The giveaways often aligned with major moments in the Doctor Who timeline, from the debut of a new Doctor to the return of familiar foes like the Master or the Daleks. Fans eagerly entered for a chance to own steelbook collections, spin-off titles from Torchwood and the Sarah Jane Adventures, or audio dramas from the main range featuring beloved companions like Ace and Hex. Each promotion was a small thank-you to the readers who follow the site across social media platforms, leaving comments and sharing their own theories. The selection process was always random and fair, ensuring every participant had an equal shot at the prize.
While the giveaways page now stands as a record of past events rather than active opportunities, it serves as a reminder of the vibrant community that has grown around GallifreyArchive. New visitors can browse the archive of promotions to see how the site has celebrated milestones throughout the years. The enthusiasm for Doctor Who never fades, and the same energy that filled those giveaway threads continues to fuel the reviews, analyses, and discussions found across the rest of the site. For those who missed out, there is always the possibility that future milestones will bring new chances to participate in the shared love of time and space.
