A Thank You

Today, I reached a milestone on the site that I never expected to reach, let alone in this timeframe. I am humbled, honoured and forever in your debt.

Through GallifreyArchive, I’ve come to know so many inspirational people; people who I now call my friends.

To be acknowledged by those you look up to is an absolute blessing; and I don’t take it lightheartedly at all. GallifreyArchive has opened up opportunities that I never thought possible; and it looks as if it’s changed my life for the better and the bizarre.

Each and every one of you has helped the site grow, and, in turn, helped me grow as a person.

It is truly astonishing that anyone wants to know what I think about something I love; and I still can’t quite comprehend it. It’s not just GallifreyArchive though, projects like WhoPride make me proud to be part of this community, and the mentors I’ve seemingly gained to help me in my professional life have helped me realise who I am, what I do and how best to do it.

I know I’ve made mistakes; and I regret some of the decisions and outcomes of those mistakes, but it reminds me that I’m always going to be human. For anyone that’s had to deal with those mistakes, please let me apologise with every ounce of my being.

There’s no big announcement that’s going to follow this. I just wanted you to know how much you mean to me. I love each and every one of you, with both hearts.

Thank you, Daniel.

A Quick Update

Hello dear reader and welcome to September of 2016 on GallifreyArchive! I hope you’re doing well, and first and foremost I’d like to apologise for the lack of content on the site this week; I’ve had arguably the busiest week in a long time personally, and I’ve just been unable to sit down and write anything for the site. This update is basically an apology for that, and letting you know that, whilst for the considerable future I won’t be able to publish articles every day of the week; I’ll be sure to try my best and publish at least three or four. The Big Finish reviews are going to keep coming too, hopefully on the day of release like they currently have been; and for those of you that backed The GallifreyArchive Book, I can safely say that the end is in sight and I’m just putting the finishing touches on a few things and getting the printers prepared for printing it!

Thank you again for your continued support, and I’ll see you all soon!

Yes, I’m aware that the new Instagram logo is hideous, but just put up with it for a moment. Basically, I just wanted to let you that we’ve relaunched our Instagram which is creatively called GallifreyArchive. The new Instagram will feature exclusive news of what’s coming up, as well as links to all of our reviews and articles. Basically, just follow it yeah? It won’t hurt, and it’s managed by the lovely Jamie!

Changes To Our Reviews

Hey there guys; Daniel here, with a quick little update with a change I’m going to have to our reviews in the future.
When I started Gallifrey Archive nearly a year ago, I had no idea that it was going to be so successful, noticed and revered amongst the Whovian community so I didn’t really give much thought to the layout of my reviews.
If you go back to the really, really early reviews; you’ll see a fairly similar layout, but dotted with images throughout which looked messy and unprofessional; since then, we’ve become more focussed on the text and by extension, the content that you are here to read.
One thing that has been a constant is the way that we score our reviews; up until now, it has been X/10. As of now though, as we’re reviewing so much content, I think that it’ll be better to make the review scores a percentage, meaning I can be more precise and give you a more in depth opinion of a story.

Now, I know that this isn’t major news, but you all deserve to be kept in the loop.
